Dogs
I love dogs.

Stay (Multi)
One of my favorites. Mr. Cooper responding to Jeff's voice.

Bentley the Bronco
After I completed Bentley for Karen, I changed the color scheme for her husband Kenny, a huge Denver Broncos fan. It can be challenging to create a piece when I'm limited to specific colors, but I think it came out great. And Kenny loves it, so that's the most important result, right?

Bentley
I finally got around to doing a piece for my sister Karen. This is her Miniature Schnauzer, Bentley. Bentley is a serious little man with a handsome silvery coat. Purple seemed fitting, not only because it's one of Karen's favorite colors, but also because Bentley carries himself like a regal little prince, patrolling his castle and barking at all those who dare to pass.

Cali
Custom order of Cali from Beth as a Christmas gift for her girlfriend. Such a cute little dog!

Calvin
Beth's girlfriend liked Cali so much, she asked for one of Calvin.

Caper
Mr. Cooper lying on our dining room floor. With the background removed, he looks like he's jumping, or capering lightly in the air. As if he could (or would).

Dashiell
Our new pup! Dashiell is a Labrador-Miniature Schnauzer mix. I took the photos I used for these pieces a month after we got him, when he was about 3 1/2 months old. He's such a cutie! I thought these two would look great as a pair, so I used purples with blue accents for one and then reversed it for the other.

Emma
A custom order from Nina, who saw Jeff and my phone cases while waiting on us at Grand Casino in Culver City. She loved our phone cases so much, she ordered a custom phone case of her English Bulldog Emma (check out a photo of the phone case on my Commissions and Custom Orders page). Such a refined English lady! Such character!

Jeff and Mr Cooper
In October 2014, Jeff and I had to put Mr Cooper to sleep. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done and it really tore Jeff up. About a month before, the three of us went camping and I was able to capture a great photo of the two of them at the beach in San Luis Obispo. It's my favorite picture of the two of them together. The night we put him down, I read a letter to Jeff and Mr Cooper about my experience having Mr Cooper as my dog and how much I'd miss him. For Jeff's 50th birthday, I decided to do this photo with the words from my letter overlaid onto the image. I had it printed on metal and I think it came out great as a nice tribute to Jeff and Mr Cooper.

Last Day (Blue)
Me and Simon in blue. Bright, but still very blue.

Last Day (Grey)
Me hugging Simon one last time. A very grey day.

Mine
Custom order of Charlie for Angel. One of the sweetest dogs ever! Guarding his football, but really wanting you to try to get it from him. I had this printed on a large piece of metal with a glossy finish for Angel's birthday.

Olive
From a photo I took of Olive, my friends Greg and Michael's Boston Terrier. She had excused herself from our gathering and retired to the couch. I assumed she was asleep, but it quickly became clear that she simply had grown tired of us and just wanted to be alone. Olive is sure one salty little dog!

Over
Mr. Cooper flopped down after being scratched. I had this and Roll printed on glossy metal for Jeff. They are hanging in our dining room.

Roll
Mr. Cooper in mid roll demanding some scratching. You better do it!

Roxie
Beth liked how Cali turned out so much, she custom ordered Roxie as a gift for her sister Bonnie.

Stay (Brown)
Originally titled "What" because that's what it looks like he'd be saying if he could speak (don't tell him he can't speak).

The Dog Who Mistook His Cat For A Hat
Funny photo of Dinah laying against Mr. Cooper's head on the bed. They get closer and closer to each other. Very slowly...

Kai
Custom order of Paolo's dog Kai. He was lying on our bed while Jeff was sleeping. I had to combine two photos to get it right. It was printed on glass and given to Paolo for his birthday.
